Holiday Entitlement
Under current legislation Agency Workers are entitled to 24 days Annual Leave each year. Due to fact that the hours worked by each Agency worker can vary from week to week Holiday Entitlement accrues in the following manner:
- Holiday Entitlement multiplied by 7.5 hours divided by 37.5 hours divided by 47.2 weeks
- 24 x 7.50 / 37.50 / 47.20 = 0.102
In practice this means that for every hour that is worked 0.102 hours Holiday Entitlement is accrued
For example: 10 hours are worked, therefore 1.02 hours holiday are accrued.
Holiday Pay
Payment of accrued holiday is made three times each year, during the “traditional” college holidays in April, August and December.
Payment is calculated based on the hours worked during the preceding four months as follows:
- Hours worked December, January, February & March paid in April
- Hours worked in April, May, June & July paid in August
- Hours worked in August, September, October, & November paid in December
You may request payment of accrued holiday at other times. Such requests should be made in writing and have been authorised, where necessary, by the organisation you are assigned to.
You will receive all outstanding accrued holiday with your final payment if you terminate your period of employment with Nord Anglia Recruitment.
All temporary assignments are paid monthly, in arrears. Timesheets must be submitted for authorisation by the last day of the month. Authorised timesheets must be received in our offices by the 7th of the following month. Monies will be paid directly into your bank account on the last working day of the month.
The Identification Requirements can be downloaded from the Home Page.
